Creating a catalogue for a jewellery brand

www.illumijewel.co.uk

Welcome to our new blog.

Our first post is about our latest project of creating a catalogue for ILLUMI JEWEL. The catalogue was aimed to be distributed to Europe digitally to introduce the brand to the traders as well as listing out the pricing of over 50 items.

When it comes to creating a catalogue having good images is one of the most important element as it will determine how the whole catalogue look. For ILLUMI JEWEL, the theme has to be soft, and relaxed, with almost a holiday feel to it, adorned but not over-accessorized as the brand aimed to target audiences who are looking for day-to-day pieces. Images being attractive will certainly help in this context.

Luckily for this project, we have plenty of good photos which are created by both myself and another photographer named Tanya Kalbachova (Instagram @t.kalbachova). The best approach for this project is to use model images to demonstrate the jewellery and with it a close-up catalogue image of the jewellery to allow potential customers to see the designs clearly.

The catalogue consisted of a total of 36 pages (including the front cover and back) and it took about 10 days to complete.
