Birth of ARTY KIDS

Starting Arty Kids is a very natural and logical choice for us.

For a while, we have noticed there are no specialist art classes for children in our area. Being parents ourselves, we also wanted to send our children to workshops where they can learn as well as have fun. It didn’t come to us straight away that we could be the one to run these workshops, only until recently, when we stumbled upon some art programmes for children in other areas of England. It was a light bulb moment! We should be running an art workshop for children!

For the previous 6-7 years (excluding the pandemic lockdown), as a creative couple, every year we have been invited by our local schools in Loves Farm to either run an art & craft workshop or give talks to children about character designs and our jobs as a designer.

We did it because we see the benefit to young children for gaining knowledge about the art industry, as well as learning the process of creating that is useful for many other disciplines too, bringing out their ingenuity to create, solve and execute a plan or an idea.

Arty Kids turns out to be in its making for years!

Our years of experience in the creative industry in multiple disciplines and passion for children’s art education, leads to running creative workshops for children made absolute sense! We have the knowledge and the heart!

Since then, we have been working hard to design workshops suitable for children in various age groups, as well as getting our DBS check and soon be getting our Paediatric First Aid training to ensure the health and safety of children who are going to take part.

This has to be one of the most exciting projects we have set out to do in years and we can’t wait to roll out all of these amazing workshops for your children to learn and enjoy!

If you are looking for something particular, why don’t you give us a shout too? You can use the CONTACT PAGE to drop us a message. And we hope we will be seeing you very soon at one of our workshops!

In recent years, academics concluded there is great value in creative work for children in their early years, as well as their parents’ and carers’ well-being. Children are most happy when their creative need is met, which contributes to better skills and behaviour development in learning as they grow.
